Energy Audit e-drive

Description

Determine the difference in efficiency between a conventional electric motor and in-wheel motors in city busses.

We had to research the difference in efficiency between a conventional electric motor and in-wheel motors. With the outcome, Rotterdam’s public transport company RET will have a better understanding of which driveline is the most efficient in a city bus, and thus which one to chose to have the lowest (operational) costs.
