The FARAO project is a Fatigue investigation for Robust Additively Manufactured Objects.

The goal is to investigate and improve the durability of 3D printed titanium leaf springs of 0.2 mm thick which oscillate at 31.8 Hz. The current lifetime of the 3D printed bondhead is 2 months and this needs to increase to 2 years. 3D printing the bondhead will reduce cost.
