The development of a Distributed Mode Loudspeaker

Characterizing the properties of a DML on the basis of a 3D simulation.

This project is about the development of a Distributed Mode Loudspeaker, which is a type of flat panel speaker. The scope of this project is to characterize the sound radiation properties and how they depend on different development choices. The demand for different speaker technologies is increasing, as the conventional speaker technology cannot be shrunk to a smaller size.
