Retention of frontier workers
Vacature: "Retention of frontier workers in the Dutch-German border region"
Fontys Venlo and the Research Group Cross Border Business Development are looking for you! There are approximately 50,000 frontier workers in the Dutch-German border region. The Dutch and German Public Employment Agencies are developing Cross-border employment services to facilitate matching of unemployed to available vacancies in the border region. But do they stay?
As part of a larger research project, we seek to understand the factors that play a role in the retention of frontier workers after they have been matched to a position on the other side of the border. How long do they stay? Are there special measures in place to facilitate frontier workers? what factors play a role in matching success on the long run?
