Positive behavior support and Intervention. Basic principles and their application in elementary schools
On 26 August, The Counselling division for children with developmental disabilities (Vilnius, Lithuania) organized the training "Positive behavior support and Intervention. Basic principles and their application in elementary schools”. Six general and special education schools were selected to take part in the pilot project to implement PBIS in Lithuania. More than 60 teachers, psychologists and other specialists participated in remote training on the main features and principles of PBIS. Participants learned about methods and practices on how to organize learning environments for students with autism spectrum disorder in accordance to PBIS principles.
