Coaching

During your whole bachelor programme in each semester, you will be assigned a personal semester coach. He or she will be your primary point of contact, with whom you will have regular communication. Your coach will monitor your progress, provide useful tips and advice as needed.

To ensure your successful study experience, Fontys University pays personal attention to you. You will receive guidance in your development and exploration of your talents. Of course, we are also here to assist you with any questions regarding time management, additional study support, dyslexia, and autism, among others.

Student+ is a service provided by Fontys ICT for all ICT students. We offer a wide range of trainings, workshops, and individual and group coaching programs, for example, for students with autism, ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, or exam anxiety. We also support students who struggle with study planning and organization, physical and/or mental health issues, or students who balance their studies with elite sports or caregiving responsibilities. Student+

For students who expect to need some extra support in their studies, we are organising a special information session / kick-off with the following content:

  • Introduction to Student+
  • Handy tips for starting your studies
  • Information about available support at Fontys ICT
  • Information from a dean
  • Information about the "Good Start" group ( a group of students who meet weekly under the guidance of Student+, either in person or online, to exchange tips and help each other get off to a good start and improve study success)
  • Guided tour of the building
  • Student experiences
  • Q&A session with Student+, a student and a study coach
