Lifestyle Intervention
During the lifestyle consulting hours, your therapist will guide you in understanding unhealthy lifestyle habits and how to modify your behaviour accordingly.
This is done through a guiding approach where you remain in control. An unhealthy lifestyle is the cause of most long-term illnesses, musculoskeletal disorders and chronic pain. In addition to treating your symptoms, there will also be attention for prevention. This may involve more exercise, a healthy diet, better sleep and stress reduction. In order to provide the best possible care, your therapist will work with GPs, nurse practitioners, medical specialists and nutritionists, among others.
If you feel you have gotten off track: your therapist will support you in your recovery so you can get back to doing what gives you energy.
