Boost your career with Smart Industry skills. This course prepares you for the future of digital manufacturing, where you not only understand Industry 4.0 technologies but can apply them to drive innovation, automation, and efficiency in industrial processes.

What is Smart Industry?

Smart Industry, also known as Industry 4.0 or Digital Manufacturing, is a revolutionary approach that integrates Information Technologies (IT) with Operational Technologies (OT) to create adaptive, efficient, and digitally connected industrial systems. The goal is to ensure that production processes, products, and services are flexible and adjustable in real time by utilizing data. These data are collected, communicated, and applied across all components of the production network, enabling automation and optimization at unprecedented levels.

Why choose this course?

The demand for professionals who can operate at the intersection of ICT and engineering is growing rapidly, particularly in the HighTech Brainport region of Eindhoven and Noord-Brabant. This course is a unique collaboration between the ICT and Engineering departments at Fontys, providing a cross-disciplinary learning environment. You will gain hands-on experience, practical skills, and a deep understanding of cutting-edge Smart Industry technologies, preparing you for a future-proof career in this innovative field.
