The Centre for Reviews & Dissemination is an English database primarily intended for use within the area ofrovision of healthcare services. This database includes references to systematic reviews regarding the efficacy of healthcare and in some cases, includes links to complete reports.

The database is made up of three separate components, as follows:

  • Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects (DARE). DARE contains 15,000 abstracts of systematic book reviews and via links, you can view many of these book reviews.
  • NHS EED. The NHS EED contains extensive summarised information intended for use by policymakers in the healthcare services.
  • HTA. The HTA includes details regarding ongoing and completed projects, monitored by the forty-seven members of the International Network of Agencies for Health Technology Assessment (INAHTA).
