• Use the search tool Fontys Finder to search a wide range of digital resources suitable for your studies. Fontys Finder offers various search options to perform targeted searches by topic or information type (e-book, e-journal, magazine article, etc.), for example.
• An overview of all available information resources within Fontys can be found in the A-Z list with databases.

The online course Searchwise helps you get started with searching, reviewing, selecting and processing resources for your studies. The course consists of the following modules at basic and advanced levels: 

• * from research question to search terms;
• * information resources and search methods;
• * selecting and assessing resources;
• * processing resources.

Would you like to publish a thesis on the HBO Knowledge Base? The procedure for this varies by study programme. Watch the video of HBO Knowledge Base and check with your thesis coach or coordinator how publishing a thesis works.

• An aid for citing sources according to APA guidelines is the publication  'The APA-guidelines explained' (Dutch), (SURF, 2021).
