ERIC (the Education Resources Information Center), which is subsidised by the American government, is the largest database of its kind in the areas of didactics, education and related areas. ERIC contains bibliographic data and excerpts from books, reports and periodicals dating back to 1989, as well as addresses for the relevant authorities and suppliers from which complete documents can be ordered. ERIC also contains a number of links to other education-related sources.
