Course description
In this course you will learn about, and experience the role of business consultant. The course contains of two tracks running in parallel:
- dealing with complex organisational problems, and setting up a solid change programme;
- building a relationship with your client in order to commit them to your proposal.

Competences: organizational behavior, problem recognition, diagnosing, designing, changing and evaluating.
Learning objectives
- Analysis recognition & description of key issues in an organisation;
- Diagnosis: identifying root causes;
- Design: development of an effective change strategy;
- Implementation: deployment of your change strategy into interventions;
- Presentation: convincing your client to accept your proposal.
General course information
Required previous knowledge
The course requires a basic level of knowledge on subjects like strategy, organisational structure, process management, leadership, management. Due to the interactive way of working a reasonable level of English is absolutely required.

Way of working
Interactive classes and a group assignment.
Exam
Written proposal and presentation.
Caesura
A final score of 5,5 or higher leads to passing the course and receiving the related 4 ECTS.
Retake exam
The retake of the exam is scheduled at the end of the semester. This is usually two or three weeks after the first exam week.
