After graduation you can start your career as a:

For example as a home automation specialist, who ensures everything in a house works energy efficiently using home automation. You can programme a system so the lights illuminate in unison with the beat of the music, but you also make sure the house is at a comfortable temperature when people are there, but is turned off in order to save energy when they are away from home.

In this position, you will advise large technical companies on how to keep the planet liveable. Dor example by proposing a new concept for generating sustainable energy. Does this sound like a challenge made for you?

Will you soon be testing the latest surgical robot for the hospital as a testing engineer? Or a care robot that helps us better assist people with disabilities? The testing engineer truly makes a difference for others.

The commercial employee confidently walks into a large technological company to present the latest software. At the end of your studies, you posses the knowledge and experience to ensure companies they can achieve even greater results with the innovation you’re presenting.

As an embedded software engineer, you will be developing crucial software which is embedded directly into electronic appliances like smartphones and cars.

Pursue a Master's degree after your studies

After completing your bachelor's, pursue advanced studies at Fontys, offering master's in Digital Technology Engineering and System Design.

It's also possible to pursue a master's at a technical university. During the minor in your third year, you can take a pre-master. This allows for a faster transition to a master's at the Technical University of Eindhoven.
