Fontys International HRM stream for international organisations
As a link between society, global business and the professionals of the future, Fontys University of Applied Sciences understands the importance of training for and within the professional practice. In a world of increasing global challenges, the HR profession explicitly demands graduates with international and intercultural competencies. For this reason, the bachelor's programme in Human Resource Management launched an International HRM stream (IHRM). In a practice-oriented stream, second-year students will strengthen their international and intercultural talents and competencies for the future (international) work field
Under the guidance of a team of lecturers, students gain real work experience in the HR field and the explicitly challenging learning environment ensures that they make a relevant and social contribution as future-proof professionals. The students in the IHRM stream have an inquisitive mind when it comes to finding the right advice for your challenges. These challenges could revolve around any social, organisational or individual issue.
Is your organisation looking for answers to international or intercultural HR issues? Or solutions to promote inclusion, mutual understanding or other international issues for which you lack time or expertise? Then our students can help you. Possible international or intercultural assignments include the development and presentation of training courses and workshops and coaching programmes for a specific target group (individual). Sparring, contributing ideas and offering advice about an inclusive (onboarding) policy or employer branding, work happiness in an international and intercultural context, optimising team building/ working together in a blended team.
