Regardless your skill level or area of interest, our courses are designed to help you succeed. Whether you're interested in mastering the art of 3D printing or exploring the world of programming with Arduino, we have something for everyone. What are you waiting for? Keep an eye on the Makersplayce calendar and sign up for a course.

Did you know that you can weld in multiple ways? What welding methods there are and how to do it you will learn in the welding course. Note: this requires precision and concentration!

In the bicycle repair workshop you will learn the basics of repairing your bike and make sure the wheels of your bike keep turning.
Dive into the world of electronics and learn to solder like a professional.
Learn how to design a PCB and bring your electronics projects to life.
Explore the world of 3D printing and learn how to turn digital designs into physical objects.
Learn CAD design with SolidWorks and unleash your creativity.
Learn more about 3D modeling and bring your designs to life with Fusion 360.

Facilities

Electronics workspace

Whether you're soldering LED strips or making your own circuit boards, the electronics workspace has all the machines you need. We have: a complete soldering station | a function generator | an oscilloscope | logic analyzers | and multimeters.

FDM printers

FDM printing is a 3D printing technique that uses molten plastic. The nozzle moves along three axes allowing any creation to be made. This is also known as Additive Manufacturing.

SLA printer

Unfortunately, the SLA printer is broken. As a result, we are unfortunately unable to process SLA orders for the remainder of the school year. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Cricut Maker 3

The Cricut Maker 3 is a powerful crafting machine that allows you to draw, emboss, engrave, punch and cut in various materials such as paper, vinyl, thin woods and fabrics.

Sewing machine

Sewing is a useful skill for both product development and maintaining your own stuff.

Computer station

Get access to computers equipped with software such as SolidWorks and Fusion 360. This ensures that you can design and model your projects with precision and efficiency. Or take advantage of the three monitors to enhance your design and modeling work.

Toolboxes

With a wide assortment of tools, any job can be done. There are four general tool chests, two specialized tool chests and a tool cart in the machining area.

Vacuum former

The vacuum former is a Formech Compac Mini. It is a durable vacuum former that allows students to practice their skills and try new options. The machine takes advantage of the melting properties of thermoplastics such as ABS, PET, PMMA, HIPS and more.

Tools

In case you need more power or speed on your project, we also offer an assortment of power tools and special equipment. Some of the assortment: an impact nutrunner, two cordless drills, an oscillating multi-tool and a dremel.

3D printing

At Makersplayce, you'll find nearly 30 3D printers including: Ultimakers, BambuLabs and even a Nexa resin printer. For study projects, you can use the printers for free. For private projects, material costs are charged. There are plenty of material choices. For example, there is PLA for general prototypes. PET-G for objects that need to be chemically resistant or food-safe. There is even filament with carbon fiber to print very strong parts and TPU if something flexible needs to be printed. If you want to print something yourself, you can easily do this through the portal, where you can fill in a form with all your preferences. After you have filled in this form, you will be automatically notified via email or check the status of your print via Trello.
