What am I going to learn?
You will learn all about new forms of education, the philosophy behind them, and how to apply them. You will also gain in-depth knowledge about the properties of technology and its impact on education.

The course offers a unique combination of theory and practice, teaching you how to generate, experiment and validate ideas in education. You will design and implement technical solutions and learn how to avoid pitfalls.

Structure of the programme
- The programme lasts for 18 weeks.
- The language of the course is in Dutch and English
- One day a week, at Wednesday, you will be at Fontys (Strijp-TQ) for workshops, inspiration sessions and your own working time.
- For the rest of the week (study load 4 hours), you will work independently or in a group on your own technology solution for one or more education stakeholders.
- You design iteratively and regularly present your progress.
- You will conclude with a final product in which you transform your vision of education and technology into a validated technology solution.
Examples of final products
Silent hologram
A cube you can place on a phone containing a hologram of a sleeping child. If children make too much noise, the child wakes up. This promotes quiet work in the classroom.
VR: Chemistry virtual reality application
A replacement and deepening of chemistry labs, offering additional flexibility and more opportunities.
Cheat software
Software that allows you to create cheat sheets, but actually helps you understand the subject matter better.
