If you are a Dutch student and you want to follow the Associate degree in Eindhoven, but you do not have the correct admission requirements and you are older than 21, you will have to take a Dutch 21+ test, which consists of two parts. If you have passed part 1, the intelligent capacity test (ACT), you will also have to take part 2, a Dutch language test. Both are facilitated by Fontys. The dates on which the ACT is taken at Fontys can be found here.
Even with this, you can sometimes start this programme. But we will have to check whether your diploma meets the requirements. Contact us to have your diploma evaluated. It is also important that you speak Dutch at level B2.
Taking care of your finances is an important part of student life. There are tuition fees, possible scholarships and (proof of) living expenses to consider.
More about financesGood to know: the Dutch Immigration Service (IND) requires non-EEA students to proof they have access to a certain amount of money per year/semester. Read more by clicking the link above.
Besides tuition fees, there are more costs such as textbooks, introduction, excursions and a good laptop. Are you going to live in a student room? Then you will pay rent and other living expenses such as gas, water and internet.
It is important to us that you feel at home with us. A study choice check can help you with this. Using a questionnaire and a personal interview, together we will check whether this programme suits you.
Do you apply after 1 May? Then your recommendation is binding.
Wondering what's to come after applying for this programme? Check out the entire application process.
Please note! If you wish to apply for housing through Fontys, the application deadline is June 15 (start September) or December 8 (start February).
You can sign up for online and live events throughout the academic year.
We are happy to help.
