Course description

In the Forensic Accounting course we explore the concept of occupational fraud. What is it? How can we detect it? And lastly, how can we prevent it? We will discover this together with the use of several workshops, articles, and several guest lectures from experts from the field.

Competences and learning objectives

After the course you can:

  • Explain and use basic forensic accounting;
  • Read, explain and analyze financial statements;
  • Defend a well-supported opinion about ethical behaviour in Finance & Accounting field;
  • Explain financial fraud types and the consequences of it.
