Course description
The class runs parallel to the Management Cluster course in the first semester of the first year. The Intercultural Management courses in the first semester of the first year are deepened, and the Organisational structure and culture introduced in the first semester of the first year are expanded under the umbrella topic of Human Resources Management. The key topic will be Human Resources Management. Six major HR topics will be covered over 6 weeks, allowing for an exploration of both typical/traditional HR practices and the most recent HR trends in the global business environment. In the 7th week, IB HR conference will be organized.

After the course you can:
- Understand well-recognized theories in intercultural proficiency;
- Manage conflicts in multi-cultural working environment;
- Understand and retrieve traditional HR practices including recruiting, rewarding, training, etc;
- Understand and retrieve modern HR practices including talent acquisition, total rewards, upskilling, reskilling, etc;
- Understand what skill-based HR stands for.
