Course description
"The advent of technology and continuing innovation means that the finance landscape has been and will continue to change fast. This is leading to the change in business models, different revenue streams, new economic costs. This not only impacts the way of doing business, but also offers opportunities for spotting unidentified market space and introducing innovative business models, creating new levels of complexity in the digital financial services ecosystem. This course offers an introductory overview of the impact of technology on finance and financial institutions, and offers the opportunity to incorporate the knowledge and understanding on financial technology in the strategic decision making of companies.

- Discuss trends in and types of digital financial strategies in international business;
- Explain the impact of digitalization on finance in an international business context;

- Analyse and evaluate information for decision-making for a compliant and sustainable strategy to address the issues found in impact analysis.
