Course description
In this course, you'll investigate the environmental challenges impounding on business & develop sustainable solutions, sustainable economic growth model for a typical equipment manufacturing company.
Competences and learning objectives
After the course you can:
- Understand the context of circularity with respect to past evolutions of sustainability, green initiatives, ecological movements, and pollution controls from the past;
- Develop feasibility study/reporting on the viability of circular initiatives to a select group of stakeholders;
- Understand the implications or the relationships between changing internal variable(s) (business models, business operations, technologies) and externalities such as social, legal change or systems level change;
- Provide support (e.g. risk analysis, guidelines, design, recommendations) in addressing the pertinent problem(s) facing a typical organization taking into account the externalities.
