Course description

This course aims for students to understand the main Macro Economic principles and policies and being able to relate them to the USA and current global economic developments. In addition you learn about money creation, the banking system, the monetary and fiscal policy in the US.

After the course you can:

  • Understand the main Macro Economic principles and policies and being able to relate them to the USA and current global economic developments;
  • Understand money creation, the banking system, the monetary and fiscal policy in the US;
  • Understand the main financial markets is the US
  • Understand the US economy and its position in the world economy, such as understanding USD exchange rate.
