How can a VR racing chair be used in the rehabilitation of stroke patients? Students, under the guidance of Geert-Jos van der Maazen, explored this question! While a moving chair and VR headset are common in the gaming world, they are not yet standard in rehabilitation settings. However, these tools can make a rehabilitation process more effective, independent, and enjoyable. As a student, you will investigate what is needed to integrate these tools into a rehabilitation program and assess their effectiveness.
