Student experiences

Feel priviliged for all the opportunities!

Livia

Graduate

Hard work always pays off! I am extremely happy to have done both my internship and graduation assignments in collaboration with Koninklijke Philips N.V. and multiple hospitals around the Netherlands. I specialised in Applied Data Science because data is all around us. This allowed me to apply machine learning techniques on my projects and assignments. I learned a lot at Fontys and I feel privileged for all the opportunities!

Great connections, experience and support!

Anjela

Graduate

The best part about Fontys ICT is the great connections you make along the way, the experience and support you receive. In my second year at ICT, a lecturer saw my potential and referred me to a software company. That opened many doors and let me dive into a professional environment immediately. Leading projects and student associations, volunteering at events, representing Fontys at educational fairs - I know I got the most out of my experience in Fontys UAS and made me the person I am today.

One of the most future-proof study choices.

Edita

Graduate

I believe ICT is one of the most future-proof study choices. I had no prior programming knowledge and worked hard to learn and improve during my studies. I knew there would be some part of ICT that I would enjoy. Luckily, at Fontys I have a lot of control over which direction to go throughout the studies. I studied Software Engineering and Smart Mobile. This encouraged me to graduate in User Interaction. Thus, by trying different themes I discovered my true passion.

Best cyber security and knowledge in the world

Samuil

Student

Currently, I am doing an internship at ASML as a Virtual Infrastructure Architect - Intern. My current job requires a lot of problem-solving skills and good knowledge of networking. I have long dreamed of working in the military and/or a large international bank. Those are institutions/facilities with the best cyber security practices and knowledge in the world right now
