After graduation you can start your career as a:

A Logistics Engineer focuses on continuously improving the supply chain. Through data analysis and process observation, you identify inefficiencies and save costs. You analyze logistics processes, think of improvements, and advise management on optimization. Additionally, you set up optimization projects, lead them, coordinate the implementation, and evaluate the results to achieve sustainable improvements.

You enjoy providing advice to clients: you know exactly which CRM or ERP system works best. Looking for sustainable solutions? Cheaper suppliers? Faster transportation? With your background in engineering, you calculate all the processes. This way, you always know how to provide the best advice

Take control of warehouse operations, inbound logistics, or distribution planning, where you'll lead teams, achieve performance targets, and drive continuous improvement. Strong leadership and a focus on operational efficiency are essential for success and making a real impact within the company.

In this role, you oversee supplier management, negotiate prices, and ensure service levels. You manage the global flow of goods, including storage and distribution, finding optimal solutions for customers through strategic planning and effective communication.

Pursue a Master's degree after your studies

You can continue your studies and pursue a master's degree. Together with the University of Plymouth, we offer the following masters.

  • Master of Science International Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Master of Science International Procurement and Supply Chain Management
  • Master of Science Operations and Supply Chain Management

In addition to the master's programmes we offer at Fontys, you also have direct access to a variety of partner universities. It is possible to complete your master's degree at partner universities within one year after finishing your studies.
