Learning & innovating cross-border organisations

Vacancy: research project Learning & innovating cross-border organisations

We’re offering exciting internship opportunities for research interns. As intern you will gather and analyse data on how cross-border organisations innovate and investigate this in relation cultural dimensions aspect of cross-border organizations or zoom into cross-border brokerage. Doing so, you can provide valuable insights on the cultural aspect and/or cross border brokerage for our team.

Organizations doing business across national borders face new and more barriers, such as differences in culture, language, legislation and infrastructure. Since learning organizations are better able to meet these challenges flexibly and become ever better at cross-border business, it would be logic to invest in becoming a learning organization. At the moment we are gaining insights to what leaders and brokers in SME do towards becoming a learning organization and how this helps or hinders the development of cross-border activities. Furthermore, we are interested to further investigate the cultural aspect (via Hofstede’s cultural dimensions theory) of cross-border business innovation, and we are also want to know more about brokerage in this cross-border context.

Are you passionate about one or more of these topics: cross-border business development, innovation in organisations, leadership and/or brokerage. Do you enjoy diving into research and uncovering insights? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
