BIP “Consulting on Change”: a multidisciplinary International Project

The International Business project “Consulting on Change” will be an international challenge in cooperation with several foreign partner universities all over Europe. This program will be an international challenge with students from Fontys International Business and students from our partner universities all over Europe.

A week with inspiring workshops and guest lecturers, working on real cases from real companies from the Eindhoven Brainport Region in the areas of Circularity and Artificial Intelligence.

Description of the project

Organizations must constantly adapt to external factors to align with their customers, gain efficiency and transform internal operations. In this project students will learn more about why organizations need to transform and how to manage the change process. The project will focus on the areas Circularity and Artificial Intelligence. The project is done in close cooperation with companies who serve as clients for the project. Students will analyse challenges of these organizations and present recommendable solutions to transform and maximize opportunities based on their research.

This Blended Intensive Program equals 3 ECTS. Students will receive a signed Certificate stating their participation and credits.

Practical information

  • Virtual sessions: 3 online sessions about AI, for more info see below
  • Physical week: 10-14 February 2025
  • Location: Fontys Business and Communication, Fontys campus Rachelsmolen in Eindhoven, the Netherlands
  • Travel, accomodation, breakfast and dinner is excluded. Recommended accomodation will be shared.

Application and registration

Partner universities will nominate 5 to 6 students and send their contact information (first and last name, email address and study program) to Fontys Business and Communication. Student will receive a registration link in Mobility Online to complete the registration.

Workshop 1: AI in 21st century business - 28 January - 15.30 - 17.00 CET - This workshop explores how AI is revolutionizing the business landscape in the 21st century, including its impact on decision-making, customer experiences, and market competitiveness.

Workshop 2: AI in business processes - 30 January - 15:30 - 17:00 CET - This workshop delves into the practical integration of AI into core business processes, emphasizing efficiency, automation, and optimization.

Workshop 3: AI in business ethics - 5 February - 15:30 - 17:00 CET - This workshop focuses on the ethical implications of AI adoption in business. We will explore frameworks for ensuring responsible AI usage, accountability, and societal impact.
