Dealing with fear of failure
Time to do something about it.....
Fear of failure is the great fear of making mistakes or not meeting expectations.
Fear of failure is often accompanied by:
- Physical symptoms such as palpitations, headaches, trembling and sweating.
- Mental symptoms such as brooding; feelings of despair, negative thoughts about yourself and your performance.
- Behavioral symptoms such as procrastination; excessive perfectionism, unstructured work and getting bogged down in details.
The training uses a wide range of methodologies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, relaxation techniques, emotionally focused therapy etc. You will learn practical strategies that you can use in everyday life.

- Explaining fear of failure: what it is, how it arises, what sustains it
- Clarifying fear of failure situations
- Recognising and breaking the circle of fear of failure
- Examine disturbing thoughts and replace them with more helpful ones
- Relaxation techniques
- Planning and study skills
Practical information
- A training course consists of 2 or 5 meetings
- A training group consists of a minimum of 6, maximum 9 students
- The training is free of charge
