Knowledge theme
Sustainability and circularity
Sustainability and circularity focus on the integration of domains in the transformation from linear to circular in a regional (governance) context. The aim of this knowledge theme is to achieve a sustainable, inclusive economy and society through the path of circular transition. It entails a complex system transition with various system barriers and (im)possibilities at the level of the individual, organization, and network. How can opportunities be supported and accelerated? How can barriers be removed, and how do we ensure that innovations are embraced, and that existing habits and ideas are abandoned?
