Your programme

Work in a team on challenging and current marketing projects

Develop marketing strategies, create social media campaigns, and research customer needs within the scope of company projects. Understand brands, cultural differences, sales processes, and develop digital business models. All of this will help you develop your soft skills in confidently presenting, advising and communicating.

What will the next four years look like?

From day one, you'll work on marketing projects for real companies and immediately apply what you learn. In the first year, you build a broad knowledge of marketing, business, finance, and logistics. After your first year you focus on marketing and you can choose your own specialisation.

This programme is fully focused on all marketing aspects, creativity and customer engagement. General business and financial aspects are only a small part of the programme. This programme is for you if you are interested branding, strategy and working in an international environment with the latest trends.

After graduating from the Marketing Management study programme you can work in various organisations like multinationals, creative agencies or even the government. Our graduates work as content creators, online marketeers, communication consultants or brand managers for example.

In year 3 it is possible to do an internship abroad and/or follow a minor abroad. This gives you a chance to gain international experience. Fontys collaborates with 125 partner universities and companies in the region and abroad.

Applied science universities are more focused on practice and are strongly career-oriented. Technical universities are more theoretical with focus on research and innovation. If you prefer to learn things by doing, applied university is a way to go.
