What is it?

Innovative learning focuses on students and their education. Wouldn't it be interesting if your paper on innovative learning could also be presented to students themselves? For every speed-paper presentation, the organizing committee will appoint a certain number of students who have read your paper and have prepared some questions for your session in advance. The name speed-paper is based on the concept of speed-dating, where you present your ideas in several short time slots of only 10 minutes with 10 minutes Q&A to different audiences consisting of students and your fellow conference participants in a dynamic setup.

How does it work?

In a large room, several tables will be placed at reasonable distances. At each table, a monitor will be available for you to show your presentation and a university student will host the session as a chair. Your audience will assemble around your table. After your presentation of a maximum of 10 minutes, the Q&A will take 10 minutes, where first of all, one student will ask some questions. After the session is over, the audience will move to another table, and the presenter will get a fresh audience to present once more to get more feedback from different perspectives. Every presenter will be active three times in a row.

What's in it for you?

Instead of just sharing with your peers, you can reflect on your work and ideas with students who prepared the session in advance. As the conference is on innovative learning for innovation, we want to introduce an innovative way to present authors' work more interactively and focus on the target group of students.

The conference organizing committee is challenging you to participate in these speed-paper presentations to start innovating the way of presenting papers in an international conference setup. Upon your paper submission, you can indicate if you prefer a speed-paper submission above a regular paper submission.
