[Cross-over ensemble] is a band of experimental jazz performances at AMPA that combines elements of jazz with funk, gospel and contemporary music. Through their performances, you will be guided into a unique and exploratory world of music in a modern-day scene.

Jazz vocalist Kevin Bokomo
Kevin Bokomo was Born and raised in the Congo and now based in Rotterdam, Kevin Bokomo is a singer/songwriter with Soul and Africangospel musical background. He's been mostly influenced by singers Joe Williams, Donny Hathaway and Gregory Porter. In 2020 he decided to follow his dreams by forming a band and studying jazz vocals.
Jazz vocalist Lina Lee
Korean jazz vocalist Lina Lee performs poetic and dramatic music to fit her career as an actress and poet. Her music combines the traditional oriental sensibility of Korea with the moderated and elegant sound, and creates a new glocalization by combining the European sound of the Netherlands.

Bassist Hyemin Yu
After studying music based on pop in Korea, bassist Hyemin Yu studied jazz and played bass for a year at Maastricht's music school in 2019. She has a taste that is not limited to one genre, such as pop and gospel, and has a good feeling for modern and groovy music.
Drummer Jeroen Heefer
Drummer Jeroen Heefer has a great ear and feeling for melody as well as rhythm. With his musical roots in gospel and pop and being enrolled in a study in jazz drumming, he has the tools to give the music what it needs.
Guitarist Noah Spierts
Noah Spierts discoveredhis love for music at the age of 10, when he first started taking guitar lessons. In these days, artists as Jimi Hendrix, Cream and Pink Floyd had a huge influence. Also his fascination for flamenco music can be traced back to this time.After moving to Breda at the age of 14, he began engaging in the music scene there. Wanting to learn more about harmony and improvisation, he naturally turned to jazz and fell in love with the genre. Artistic open-mindedness is his creative drive. Not only playing the guitar but also composing, making hip hop beats, collaborating with dancers, visual arts and spoken word make up his artistic identity.
