S. (Sjoerd) de Man

Sjoerd de Man (MSc.) graduated in Cognitive Artificial Intelligence at the Utrecht University in 2006, where he specialized on multi-agent systems and developed his interest in the relationship between cognition and technology.

Following his studies, he worked as a developer at various companies, specializing in front-end development. In 2012, he started working at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences as a lecturer and coordinator, where he also conducted research in blockchain technology and served on multiple participation councils.

Since 2022, he has been working at Fontys University of Applied Sciences as a researcher and project lead at the Interaction Design research group. In this role, he managed and carried out research projects.

Currently, he manages the Interaction Design research group at Fontys ICT, combining his background in software development with his experience in education and research to coordinate the applied research initiatives within the research group.
