A good start at Physiotherapy

Welcome to Physiotherapy English Stream at Fontys Allied Health Professions! You will start your studies after the summer. We are pleased that you have chosen to study at Fontys. With this mail we want to inform you about the Purple Introduction Week and other things regarding the start of the academic year.

Please note: we have sent this e-mail to inform all applicants, regardless of their admission status. You are not admissible until you have met all the requirements mentioned in the admission letter.

Important dates

Please put these important dates in your calender:

  • Purple Introduction Week 2024: August 26st - 30th
  • Introduction day: Friday August 30th
  • Start of the program: Monday September 2nd

You will receive an e-mail on August 23th at the latest with more information about the introduction day. You will meet your fellow students and teachers and receive important information about the study program. Please make sure you are present on August 30th. You will also receive your schedule on the introduction day.

Fresh at Fontys

To ensure that you get a good start on your study career, we have created the website Fresh at Fontys. Here you can find information about applying for your student card, how to register for your first teaching module, your first day of school and much more!

Fresh at Physiotherapy

Are you already fully enrolled?

Please check your to-do list in Studielink if you are not fully enrolled yet. You are not fully enrolled before you have met all the admission requirements. Please check if you have already digitally authorized your payment details. The first collection of the tuition fees will take place on September 25th, but you already have to give your digital authorization now to be fully enrolled. We also need a certified paper hard copy of your diploma and list of grades send
to us by regular post if you haven’t done so already.

If you haven’t been able to find student accommodation by the end of August, we strongly advise you not to come to the Netherlands.

Moving to the Netherlands

It is exciting to move to another country. We realize that you might have some questions. Are you an international student who is moving to the Netherlands? Check our student guide that has a lot of useful information for you.

Purple Introduction Week

Your academic year starts with a surprising introduction week from the 26st to the 30th
August 2024. It promises to be a wonderful week during which you will get to know Fontys, your fellow students, teachers and the city of Eindhoven in the best possible way. Don't forget to sign up for the introduction week and be there!

On Friday August 30th there is a welcome party for all international students at Fontys University of Applied Science. Make sure you register for the Welcome Party before August 28th. You can also join the Welcome Party when you don’t participate in the introduction week.

Please note we have limited opening hours during the summer holidays from July 29th until August 9th. Also the Fontys Campus is closed during July 27th until August 4th.

The study program Physiotherapy is not available from July 24th until August 13th. Do you have urgent questions about the study program during these dates? Then please visit the Fresh at Fontys site to see who is available for questions.
