The theme “Harmonic Pieces” beautifully encapsulates the essence of dance, portraying it as a composition of diverse and essential elements that intricately fit together. Much like the pieces of a puzzle: no matter where you are in the world, what style you dance or the timeframe, dance is what keeps us together. Dance connects people from different times, places, emotions, interests and backgrounds.

The dancers of ESDV Footloose will work together to create a beautiful performance, and in the showcase they will all share the same spotlight and story. It is the moment to showcase what each dancer has learned or created and to be proud of it. This one-in-a-lifetime experience brings all dancers closer together.

As a dance association, we love nothing more than dancing together. It is what connects us and makes us part of a community. This community is where friendships grow and memories are made.

Survival run at the TU/e campus in Eindhoven. Take on the challenge alone or with friends to conquer athletic obstacles scattered across the campus along a route through water and woods.

We close the introduction week with a BANG... On Thursday we organise Purple Festival from 14:00h to 23:00h. The entire Fontys community comes together at Leijpark. Participants from all cities of all introductory programmes come together to the Purple Festival and enjoy the artists and activities spread over the different stages all day long. The transport from and to the festival is arranged by (shuttle) bus, public transport or bike (Tilburg). This is how you close the introduction week in style with a party that you will talk about with your new friends, classmates and teachers for a long time to come.

The Showcase is an annual dance performance organized by the student dance association Footloose, where all dancers can demonstrate what they have been working on throughout the year. This year there are 2 shows on June 2nd: at 14:00 and 19:30.
