G. (George) Szanto
George Szanto is een toegepast fysicus uit Californië die een internationale carrière van 25 jaar achter de rug heeft voordat hij naar Fontys kwam. Hij heeft ook een MBA-diploma van de Syracuse University.
Bij verschillende hightechbedrijven maakte hij deel uit van uitvoerende managementteams en gaf hij leiding aan marketing- en bedrijfsontwikkelingsfuncties over de hele wereld. Momenteel gaat zijn interesse uit naar hoe business to business kopers en verkopers van bedrijven het internet gebruiken om complexe aankoopprocessen van kapitaalgoederen of diensten te ondersteunen. Hij is ook geïnteresseerd in het bestuderen van de economie en trends in jonge snel evoluerende technologiemarkten. Hij is vooral geïnteresseerd in de wereldwijde verpakkingsindustrie.
