Your student coach can help you, so please discuss your new study choice with your coach. On this page you find information on what you can do to make the transition to your new study programme as smooth as possible.

All Fontys study programmes start in September. If you have doubts early in the academic year as to whether your current study programme suits you, you can sometimes start your new study programme before 1 October. Some Fontys study programmes also have a starting date in February.

How to enroll

You sometimes have the opportunity to switch to another programme before 1 October of the current academic year. The programme you want to switch to determines whether this is possible. Therefore, always contact this study programme. After 1 October it is often no longer possible. In this case, too, contact the programme for the possibilities.

If you switch to a new programme before 1 October, you can continue studying with as little study delay as possible. So you won't 'lose' an academic year. Do bear in mind that you will start later, which may make some things more difficult. Your fellow students already know each other and you will have missed a month of classes. That is why you will initially have to put in extra time to study.
