Lector prof. dr. Eveline Wouters is lector Health Innovations & Technology (HIT) bij Fontys Paramedisch. Zij is opgeleid als arts en epidemioloog. Naast haar werkzaamheden bij Fontys is ze werkzaam als buitengewoon hoogleraar ‘Succesvolle technologische innovaties in de zorg’ bij Tranzo, TSB, Tilburg University, academische werkplaats Technological and Social Innovations for Mental Health. Daarnaast is ze onder andere lid van de raad van toezicht van zorgorganisaties ASVZ, Prins Heerlijk, Sevagram en Oktober, lid van de Provinciale Gezondheidsraad (Brabant Advies) en redactielid van ICT en Health.

Acceptatie en implementatie van technologische en sociale innovaties in de gezondheidszorg, ontwikkeling van nieuwe toepassingen van technologie in de zorg vanuit het perspectief van en in co-creatie met de gebruikers: patiënten, naasten, informele zorgverleners en zorgprofessionals. Ethische aspecten van het gebruik van technologie in de zorg. Toegankelijkheid van technologie in de gezondheidszorg en digitale ongelijkheid.
