Drs. Ir. C.J.H. (Coen) Crombach
Drs. Ir. Coen Crombach studeerde in 1994 af in Informatica aan de Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. Hij werkte vervolgens lange tijd in het ontwikkelende veld van softwareontwikkeling, alvorens hij in 2009 startte met een masteropleiding Science Education and Communication aan de TU/e (ESoE), die in 2012 leidde tot een eerstegraadsbevoegdheid als informaticadocent.
Na vanaf 2009 twee jaar wiskunde te hebben gegeven op middelbare scholen, maakte hij in 2011 de overstap naar Fontys ICT. Hij onderwees bij Fontys in de beginselen van programmeren en software engineering. Recentelijk is daar ook onderwijs en onderzoek in AI bijgekomen. In zijn onderzoek houdt Coen zich bij voorkeur hands-on en in samenwerking met anderen bezig met diverse vormen van AI.

Coen Crombach graduated in Computer Science from Eindhoven University of Technology in 1994. After years of developing software, he started a master's degree in Science Education and Communication at TU/e (ESoE) in 2009, which led to a first-degree qualification as a computer science teacher in 2012.
After teaching mathematics at secondary schools for two years starting in 2009, he made the move to Fontys ICT in 2011. At Fontys, he taught the principles of programming and software engineering. Recently, he added education and research in AI. In his research, Coen prefers to deal with various forms of AI hands-on and in collaboration with others.
