J.H.J. (Joris) Geurts
Joris Geurts studeerde Technische Informatica aan de Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. Daarna werkte hij als software architect bij Philips en NXP. Sinds 2007 werkt hij als docent-onderzoeker bij Fontys Hogeschool ICT, waar hij les geeft op het gebied van kunstmatige intelligentie en software engineering. In 2012 voltooide hij de mastergraad in Science Education and Communication aan de TU/e (ESoE).
In zijn onderzoek richt hij zich op de toepassingen van AI in de gezondheidszorg en robotisering.
ENGLISH
Joris Geurts studied Technical Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology. After this, he worked as a software architect at Philips and NXP. Since 2007, he has worked as a lecturer-researcher at Fontys Hogeschool ICT, where he teaches in the field of artificial intelligence and software engineering. In 2012, he completed the Master's degree in Science Education and Communication at TU/e (ESoE).
In his research, he focuses on the applications of AI in healthcare and robotics.
