E-bike Motor

Researching and developing a new concept for an E-bike motor that can compete with the current E-bike motors. Another goal is
to research if using permanent magnets or current carrying wire is better for the rotor. This could allow for increases in efficiency and range.

Project description

The project is a continuation of a previous group. The previous group made a simple prototype with little research. The challenge behind this project is the complex
research and simulation needed to make an efficient motor and to be able to begin optimizing it. The expectation is that it could be more efficient, but
that the manufacturing is more difficult. The result will be a prototype mounted on a bicycle.
