Parametric Print Path for FGF Composite Printing

Make a printing strategy for a displacer body using FullControl in which the shape (parametric) and number of parts can be varied. The goal is to demonstrate the operation using prints on the Flexbot and/or scaled shape on a filament printer. This method makes it a lot cheaper to create a small number of bodies with a lighter weight.

Project description

The company Covestro was looking for a new print path for their displacer body, which looks like a cylinder with a flat bottom. For this it is necessary to design the print path step by step, using mathematical formulas.

The result expected was an optimized continuous print path in which multiple bodies can be printed.

The result would be a print path which can be used to print multiple displacer bodies at once on a single build platform. All this to procure always the continuous print path.
